YTL Cement and CREAM Launch Malaysia’s Pilot Repurpose Concrete Aggregates (RCA) Facility

Pioneering effort to repurpose returned concrete into reusable materials in line with National Construction Policy 2030 (NCP 2030)

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 July 2025 – YTL Cement Group (YTL Cement), Malaysia’s leading homegrown building materials group, in partnership with the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM), the research arm of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), today launched the nation’s pilot project facility to Repurpose Concrete Aggregates (RCA).

The event was launched by Puan Zainora Zainal, Chief Executive of CIDB Malaysia, alongside Datuk Aziyah Mohamed, Director of YTL Cement.
