25 October 2024
YTL Cement recently participated in the International Construction Week (ICW) and BuildXpo from 22 - 24 October 2024 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the premier event for the construction industry in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The ICW is a platform for the construction industry players in Malaysia and around the region to showcase, learn and explore the latest trends, developments and technologies surrounding the construction industry.
The exhibition component, BuildXpo 2024, serves as a hands-on platform for industry players to showcase and explore these advancements. This year’s theme, ‘Envisioning the Future of Construction,’ underscores the role of innovation and sustainability in shaping the industry’s future.
Hosted by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), the event brought together over 120 exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions. The event allowed industry professionals to explore innovative products and services while fostering valuable partnerships to drive the sector’s growth.
YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Malaysia’s Minister of Works, officiated the event. During his tour of the exhibition hall, he visited the YTL Cement booth, there he was able to discover our comprehensive range of eco-friendly products and end-to-end building solutions. Our display highlighted YTL Cement’s commitment to supporting sustainable construction through innovative technologies and practices, aligning with the broader goals of ICW and BuildXpo 2024 to spur industry reinvention and long-term competitiveness.
