YTL Group Celebrates 70 Years of Excellence with the Launch of YTL Beyond 70

On 7 July 2025, YTL Group marked a significant milestone - 70 years of resilience, innovation, and growth - with the official launch of YTL Beyond 70. Celebrated across the Group’s international operations, the launch honoured the enduring legacy of a company that began as a small family business and has grown into a global organisation with 16,000 employees in 11 countries.

The launch was commemorated across the region, with the main event held at the Mayang Sari Ballroom, JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, and simultaneous celebrations taking place in key locations such as The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur, Wisma YTL Cement, and offices and plant sites throughout the region.

At YTL Cement Group, employees gathered to join the livestream and commemorate the occasion together. From a dedicated watch party at Wisma YTL Cement to celebrations at plant sites and offices across our regional footprint, the event brought colleagues together in a shared moment of pride.

The launch featured a keynote address by Tan Sri (Sir) Francis Yeoh, Executive Chairman of YTL Group, who shared his reflections on leadership, legacy, and continuity.

“We are at a profound inflection point. A generational shift is underway. The founding leadership - myself included - continues to set strategic direction, but increasingly, the day-to-day stewardship is being passed to the next generation. This is intentional. And it is necessary. As I have said before, my ultimate aim is not just to build a successful company, but to leave behind a resilient legacy - a company that will flourish long after we are gone.”

The YTL Beyond 70 identity has been rolled out across the Group, with YTL Cement displaying the celebratory logo on cement tankers and concrete mixer trucks – symbols of our role in supporting national development.

Employees also received commemorative gift sets in appreciation of their contributions.
