Aggregates are geological materials such as stone, sand, and gravel that are used as a base in virtually all forms of construction. They can be used in their natural state or crushed into smaller pieces. Aggregates are an indispensable ingredient in ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, and mortar.
Our quarry operations are led by Batu Tiga Quarry – Malaysia's largest quarry product supplier with operations located strategically throughout the country.
Through Batu Tiga Quarry, we produce 20 million tonnes of quarry products annually. We employ state-of-the-art equipment to test and monitor these products, ensuring that they meet customer specifications. Furthermore, our network of approximately 1,000 trucks means that our customers can depend on reliable on-time delivery anywhere throughout Peninsula Malaysia.
In line with our focus on operating responsibly, Batu Tiga Quarry is run according to stringent safety standards.
Our range of quarry products include single-sized and graded aggregates, ballast, stone column as well as crusher run and fill materials.
ECOSand™
ECOSand™ is a high quality, cubical-shaped fine aggregate produced using a Vertical Shaft Impactor. It is an ideal substitute for natural sand that improves the workability and consistency of concrete.
Single-sized and graded aggregates
Particle shape and surface texture of aggregates influence the properties of freshly mixed concrete more than the properties of hardened concrete. We produce crushed aggregates ranging from 10-20mm in size that is ideal for making concrete, precast, asphalt, and other construction products.
Crusher run
This quarry product is a combination of crushed rocks and stone dust to create a very low-void content subbase aggregate. It is available in two sizes: 20mm and 40mm.
Ballast
Our ballast product is specifically engineered for high performance applications. The large (40-50mm) aggregates lock together as they are angular in shape. They are durable, wear-resistant, and can serve as a bed for rail tracks, while providing drainage and strength for heavy loads.
